Proven Case Studies

Testing was conducted on sealant material to determine response to changes in atmospheric conditions (-40°C to 80°C) and stress. With life span estimated to be 50 years, 36,512 cycles would occur (2 cycles per day) and would experience a 12% stress rate. Results from testing at 15% stress levels and 36,512 cycles indicate less susceptibility to degration, and that rupture of the sealant due to fatigue is not probable.

Samples of sealant used on a structure exposed to temperature extremes between -6°F and 90.5°F, and solar radiation (annual average) of 1,100kWh/m2 between 1985-2010 were tested.
